We design custom displays that fit each home, from the roofline down to the trees and railings, using professional-grade lights we supply and source through Christmas Decor.
C9 lights are our primary bulb. We run them along rooflines, gutter lines, fascia board peaks, and larger trees, where their size and spacing read cleanly from a distance. They suit the long, complex rooflines and big lakefront trees you find on so many Bumpass properties.
We use mini lights on bushes, railings, and smaller trees and features, where a finer, tighter light works better than a full C9 run. They’re a natural fit for the deck and dock railings that come with lakefront homes here.
For bushes and shrubs we use net lights, which drape evenly over the shape of the plant. You get a uniform look without anyone hand-placing every strand.
Warm white is the most popular choice, and it’s the one most homes here go with. We also offer cool white, red, green, blue, purple, orange, and multicolor, so the display matches whatever you have in mind.
Every display starts with an in-person design plan for your rooflines, peaks, trees, bushes, and other features. We show you that plan with pictures of the lights on your home before anything goes up, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
Most of our Bumpass work is on homes, with a growing commercial side. Both get the same professional-grade lights and the same full white-glove package, so a business property is lit with the same care as a house on the lake.

On Bumpass lake homes the display often carries past the roofline to deck railings, docks, boathouses, and big waterfront trees, so a full-home install here can cover a lot of ground. For safety reasons, some rooflines aren’t suitable for direct installation. In those cases we focus on gutter lines and other secure mounting points to get you a beautiful, safe result.
For homeowners who want a year-round option, we also install permanent exterior lighting.

Holiday Lighting Today
From your first call to storing the lights at season’s end, here’s exactly how the process works.
Call or contact us and we’ll walk through the process and set up an in-person estimate. We aim to respond to inquiries within about an hour.
We visit your property, get your input, and design a custom lighting plan and game plan for your rooflines, peaks, trees, bushes, and other features.
We send an estimate with pictures showing the lights on your home for approval. You can tweak the design however you’d like before anything is installed.
Once you approve, we book your installation and our crew puts up your display safely, using our safety harnesses, climbing equipment, and ladders. We do an individual and client walk-around and turn the lights on together. On Bumpass lake homes we take extra care securing waterfront rooflines and deck runs that catch open-water wind off Lake Anna.
We monitor your display through the season and return to fix failures or lines a storm knocks loose, so it stays looking right through the holidays.
At the end of the season we take everything down and store your lights in a climate-controlled room, ready for next year.
Every display is priced per project, based mainly on the linear footage of C9 line, with trees, bushes, and larger trees factored in. Your quote comes from an in-person design consultation, and the estimate is free.

If a light or string goes out during the holiday season, we’ll come back and fix or replace it, that’s part of our full-package, white-glove service. This covers failures and lines a storm knocks loose during the season.

If you’re not completely happy, we’ll come back, usually the next day, and make it right until you’re 100% satisfied.
